KoçSavunma’s Ship Integrated Information System (SIIS) supports the general IT operation and office functions of underwater and surface platforms, performed via devices connected through different networks at sea, on land, and in the air. It creates a paperless office environment that includes the offices and living quarters within the platform. The system ensures the security of the information circulating on the boat by providing an infrastructure that is compatible with TEMPEST rules.
The SIIS can be adapted to different designs of underwater and surface platforms and the different operating processes of the end-users. To meet all the needs of the end-user in the best way, KoçSavunma re-runs system analysis and design processes where deemed necessary. Moreover, KoçSavunma also carries out system installation and integration, system tests and experiments, end-user training, and warranty and maintenance processes in each project.
SIIS is an integrated system comprising Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products. Upon request, the critical units can be provided to MIL-STD-810G standards.
SIIS’s structure can support all hardware units and separate networks. The system connects the local network of the boat to existing coast-to-ship and ship-to-ship network connection points and satellite communication infrastructures, as well as to TK-NET, NATO, and mission networks. The package includes all necessary cables and coupling hardware.
